ICD EUROPE RECEIVE PRESTIGIOUS QUEEN’S AWARD
The team at ICD Europe is celebrating today after winning one of the UK’s most prestigious business awards.
The winners of the 2022 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise were revealed today, and ICD Europe were delighted to be named as one of the winners in the international trade category.
ICD Europe are experts in the procurement, processing and supply of a wide range of specialised metals and alloys. They supply to customers around the world, in a wide variety of industrial sectors including the aerospace, medical, petrochemical, automotive, electronics and industrial gas turbine industries.
The Queen's Awards are given for the ‘highest levels of excellence’ and ‘outstanding achievement’ in UK business.
This year, 232 businesses representing every part of the United Kingdom and a range of sectors have been recognised by Her Majesty The Queen on her birthday as among the best in the country.
Awards have been won in the categories of:
Small Business Minister Paul Scully said: “This country is renowned for its entrepreneurial achievements and there is no greater showcase for it than The Queen’s Awards.
“It’s vital we celebrate the success of our businesses and recognise the contributions they make to communities across the country.
“I congratulate this year’s winners for their hard work and commitment over the last year and I wish them every success for the future.”
Rapid, sustainable growth
ICD Europe have been operating since 2016, as part of the global ICD Group. Their focus on international development has led to rapid, sustainable growth and they now export a range of goods to Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.

Winning benefits
Winners of the awards, which are valid for five years, may fly the Queen’s Award flag at their main office and use the awards logo on marketing materials.
A representative from each winning company will be invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace this year, Covid restrictions permitting, to be hosted by a senior member of the Royal Family.
The awards were first established in 1965 and since then more than 7,000 companies have been recognised.
